Blue Smoke Salsa began over 30 years ago when its founder, Robin Hildebrand, began making her salsa for friends and community events in Fayette County, WV.
Inspired by a childhood memory of days spent playing in the family garden with her brothers and sisters, she named the brand “Blue Smoke” and eventually grew it into a beloved Appalachian product. After years of challenges and a few changes in ownership, Robin has returned as a consultant for the brand's current owner and manufacturer - Oliverio Peppers, based in Clarksburg, WV.
